Reality Television
Ever since the reality television shows Survivor, the United States has been in love with the reality theme. It has been many years since the birth of reality television and when you turn the TV on at night, guess what is on? Sure enough it has held its popularity and continues to stay strong. There is something special about seeing real people being themselves rather than actors pretending their role.
The producers of these shows are very smart. They pick people who will make the show entertaining and create something that people can’t take their eyes off of. I always notice that the personalities of these people are very diverse, creating a group of people who all see things differently. When I watch it I tend to pick out the people that I like, and then the ones who I don’t like. It is quite strange. Watching them on TV it is almost like I know them and they are my friend, or they are someone that I would not get along with. The producers catch some exciting moments, so exciting that other television shows are created because of the reality shows. Now that is a great accomplishment, when you make a show that does so well, someone else can then make another show about your reality series.
