A POWERFUL WEAPON Many weapons have been invented over the years
Weapons were created because of men’s fears
Of enemies attacking and trying to maim and kill
Or thieves breaking in and trying to rob and steal
Knives, spears, arrows, guns, axes and much more
Are sold everyday in your local Walmart store
Personal weapons these instruments are called
The numbers sold everyday would make you appalled
Now Army weapons are a whole different thing
Tanks, artillery, mortars and bombs can havoc bring
Weapons of mass destruction can cause quite a stir
These are a class by themselves, a whole new gear
All of these man-made weapons are powerful indeed
But faith in God is the one weapon you really need
Nothing is impossible with God’s faith in your heart
Moses prayed with faith and the Red Sea did part
By faith the walls of Jericho tumbled to the ground
By faith Enoch was translated and was not found
Through faith armies of aliens were turned to flight
Through faith the land was rid of the deadly blight
Take the word of God as a sword and faith as a shield
And before your eyes the enemy will crumble and yield
One day all weapons will be turned into plowshares
And faith in God will be the only weapon a man bears
