Oh Friends
Oh friends, these are truly trying times in my poker world. I have been on a bad luck streak for the ages. It’s one of those runs where nothing goes right; I make the right calls and people seemingly get lucky against me at every occasion.
Consider this recent example: I was playing a session of online poker and within the first 30 minutes of playing I was dealt KK, QQ, JJ, AND 10-10 as opening hands! It was like every other hand I was dealt was big pocket pair.
However, can you believe that I lost EVERY SINGLE ONE of those hands?! I don’t know the odds, but I bet it is a very rare feat indeed to be dealt every pocket pair from 10-10 to KK in one session and lose every time. And the worst part was not that I lost to better hands; idiots were playing hands like 8-9 offsuit and beating my Kings.
Well, the only solace is that everything evens out in the end, and all dark nights must eventually see the light of day. We must all be patient when we play our game of poker; dealing with the losing streaks and managing them is just as important as making the winning streaks last as long as possible at the casino online.
